Positive Change for Byron High
Positive Change for Byron High is a group students who are keen on improving and minimising our schools environmental impact.
We meet regularly to research and discuss the prevalent environmental issues and possible solutions that Byron High could implement.
PCfBH aims to raise awareness and increase education about consumption and waste management in our school community.
Our plans for the future include introducing solutions inspired by an Environment Audit and working with the local community stakeholders so that our schools ecological footprint is minimal.
Currently we are targeting three of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, 'Life Below Water', 'Life On Land' and 'Climate Action' with a view to implementing some initiatives soon.
We are also currently working on a project that will be presented at the Young Persons Plan For the Planet Conference in Townsville later this year.
