Ready to enrol?

We’re excited to welcome your family to our school community! To begin your journey, simply complete an online application form. If you are not able to apply online or prefer not to, we have paper copies available at our school office.

To support your application, please include the necessary proof of identity and residence documents.

All families enrolling at Byron Bay High School must provide a copy of their child's birth certificate or passport, and 100 points proving their residential address. Without these documents, we are unable to process your application.

How to enrol

Local in-area applications

Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. If you live in our local intake area and have the necessary documentation to prove this, start your journey to join our school community today. Follow these key steps:

  1. Check your eligibility:  use School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area.
  2. Read:  other enrolment details for our school.
  3. Apply online:  complete our online enrolment application.
  4. Send us: the required identity and proof of residence documents (either attach them to your online application, email directly to our school or drop them into the front office in person).

Non-local applications

If your residential address is not in the local intake area for Byron Bay High School, you can still submit an enrolment application.

All NSW Public Schools must prioritise students living within their local intake area. Non-local enrolment is only possible if there are places left after all local students have been accommodated.

In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.
